Incense making is a meditative and enjoyable way to exercise your creativity. It's simple, inexpensive, and awakens us to the pleasures of earth's aromatic treasures and our interconnection with nature. We will teach a few simple recipes and tools for exploring more on your own.

INCENSE WORKSHOP

$90 per person (purchase tickets HERE)

Pre-registration required by March 24.

Students will craft botanical incense that includes a combination of herbs, woods, resins, and spices from around the world, in addition to locally wildcrafted materials. We will burn an assortment of materials, learn to mix and make an aromatic incense dough, and make hand rolled and extruded sticks.

The Workshop consists of 3 parts:

Part 1: Incense Burning, General Information, History 

Part 2: Formulation

Part 3: Hand Rolled & Extruded Sticks

All materials for making 12-20 incense pieces are included in the cost of the class. Additional incense materials will be available for purchase.
