Erina Schultz - who works at her small home studio creating functional wares and goods through experimenting with printing, natural dyes, and materials. She also works as a freelance textile designer creating patterns for Hanamaru Textiles. Erina completed her BFA in Studio Arts at Appalachian State University. With a background in printmaking and textiles she is currently teaching at the Textile Arts Center in Manhattan and Brooklyn and PUF Studios in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Hannah Schultz - Hannah Shell Schultz (b. Gloucester, MA, 1987, & r. FLORIDA later New York) completed her BFA in Textile/Surface Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a textile designer favoring conversational designs. Conversational pieces allow the wearer to inform the viewer a little about themselves and what they like, which can spark a conversation. She also works as a screen printer and instructor at the Textile Arts Center, specializing in printing foil, devoré, natural dyes, yardage, and more. After a 9-month residency at TAC in 2014 Hannah continues to work on a series titled “Game Cloth.” Simply designing games with textiles and soft sculptures, helping to maintain the childlike desire to have fun, get weird, and get physical. https://hannahschultz.com
Isa Rodrigues - is a textile artist and educator from the South of Portugal, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving her MA in Textile Conservation in 2008, Isa moved to New York to work and learn from the textile collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2010, she joined the founding team of the Textile Arts Center, where she still currently works as Co-Executive Director and teaches weaving and surface design.Isa likes to experiment and create with weaving and natural dyes, and her best ideas tend to appear to her in dreams.Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Art and Design and the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and she has created work for clients such as Altuzarra, M.Patmos, Google, ED by Ellen, Thompson Street Studio, amongst others.
